HOW TO GET THERE

Your destination is a coffee growing community called Bangor Ridge. In asking for directions do not use the word Blue Mountains or you will be misdirected by locals. To get to Bangor Ridge, there are two ways from the South or the north of the island. From the north coast the nearest coastal town is Buff Bay in Portland which can be easily found on the road map. The road up the Buff Bay Valley which goes toward Bangor Ridge is directly in front of the Texaco Gas Station in the Center of the Town, ask for directions there.  Take that road and 10 minutes from the gas station along the Buff Bay Valley Road, stop and ask for the turn to Bangor Ridge, this should be another 2-3 minutes away and is a sharp left turn that takes you directly to Bangor Ridge after 15/20 minutes additional driving. A member of staff will meet you in the square and make all the necessary arrangements for parking and your stay. Approaching from the South (Kingston) the Marker Points are (towns or communities) Papine, then Irish Town, to Newcastle, them Hardwar Gap, then Section, then Cascade and then Silver Hill which takes you into the Buff Bay Valley. At Silver Hill ask for  directions for the right turn up to Bangor Ridge, from that turn. it's 15/20 Minutes additional driving.
DO NOT RELY ON GPS IN THE MOUNTAIN TO FIND BANGOR RIDGE.
